Chase serves as head of algorithmic trading in GETCO Execution Services (GES), and is responsible for developing GETCO’s institutional brokerage business. In this role, Chase has been instrumental in building and growing the firm’s algorithmic trading suite. Since 2010, Chase has expanded GETCO’s institutional brokerage business to more than 60 clients, which collectively trade more than 1 percent of consolidated US Equity Volume on a daily basis. Prior to joining GES, Chase developed US equity trading strategies for GETCO’s electronic market making group, where he also led the expansion of GETCO’s equity market making business into Canada. A native of Denver, CO, Chase earned a BS in both math and physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
