He received a Bachelor of Economics from Renmin University of China and his MMPA(aka MBA in Professional Accounting) from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He began at TD Canada Trust as an Analyst and then went to KPMG as a Senior Consultant. After being at KPMG for a year, he became the Executive Director and Head of Quantitative Strategy at CIBC World Markets for about 8 years. He then spent a year as the Managing Director and Head of North American Quantitative Research at Macquarie Capital Securities. Until, he arrived at his current position as the Managing Director and Global Head of Quantitative Strategy of Deutsche Bank.
