Larry Brown

Faculty Profile
Lawrence D. Brown is the Seymour Wolfbein Distinguished Professor of Accounting at Temple University. He previously taught at Georgia State University where he was the J. Mack Robinson Distinguished Professor of Accountancy, SUNY-Buffalo where he was the Samuel P. Capen Professor of Accounting, University of Iowa, and SUNY-Binghamton. He received extensive training in accounting, economics, finance and mathematics. His principal research interests are in capital markets, corporate governance, forecasting, and methodology. He has over 80 publications and has made nearly 200 presentations at universities and professional conferences. Dr. Brown has his BS from SUNY-Buffalo, his MBA from the University of Chicago, and his PhD from the University of Rochester.
