Gilbert Bassett is a Professor of Finance and the University of Illinois - Chicago Department of Economics. Professor Bassett's fields of interest include statistics, financial markets, and Energy and the Environment. He also is interested in Robust Estimation, Factor Models in Finance, and Nuclear Waste. Professor Bassett achieved his Ph.D. at the University of Michigan in 1973.
